Advent calendar day 3
2021 is the fourth time Czech Republic (including former Czechoslovakia) is going to host the world orienteering championship. The first time, in 1972, Sarolta Monspart from Hungary became the first non-scandinavian to win a gold medal at WOC. The second time, in 1991, another Hungarian, Katalin Olah won the long distance. The home nation Czechoslovakia won 2 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes. The third time, in 2008, Thierry Gueorgiou was stung by a bee on his last leg for France, and Great Britain could celebrate the victory. I want the name of the host city in 2008!
